This was our third trip to Davio's. The first time was because we stayed at an adjacent hotel. We've returned because of the food and the grand space - which was a bank, once upon a time - with large arching windows. It features a broad Italian menu. There is a pleasant, small bar area at the front.

Dining in Rittenhouse Square sometimes becomes a stressful choice....meaning which great restaurant to choose from. Our recent trip to Davio's proved to be wise. This was our first time dining here. Everything about our experience was on point. The springroll sampler appetizer looked great and was presented properly with various sauces. The Ceasar salad was acceptable. However, the highlight was the filet mignon. Cooked perfectly with a nicely flavored char crust. Up there with any major steakhouse. Chose the pasta marinara as a side. The gravy was outstanding. Very good tiramisu for dessert. Looking forward to coming back to try other dishes.

This is an elegant restaurant, accessed by riding an elevator one level. The menu is extensive, California Italian meaning many choices - steak, chicken, seafood, pasta, everything you could want. Food is delicious and fresh.

Waiters are very professional, but down to earth.

Can't wait to go back.

I chose this restaurant for my birthday dinner and it was the perfect choice. The food and service were excellent. Our server was very attentive and made a point of asking if anyone had allergies or if it was a special occasion (which it was for me). The best part of the meal was dessert and they added a candle to my chocolate cake and wrote out happy birthday on my plate. A very nice touch. The cheesecake spring rolls appetizer were also really good. I'd definitely recommend those. Although it's a little on the pricey side, Davio's is definitely well worth the money for a nice dinner out.
