Had dinner with a business associate. Nice setting for that purpose; quiet, cozy, can hear each other talk. Food was good; menu is basic, traditional northern Italian with a few rotating entrees. Great wine list but a little on the spendy side.

I will give this restaurant an excellent rating because of their delicious food and ambiance. I booked the Wine Cellar for a romantic Valentine dinner for two for me and my wife, when we showed up they informed us that there was an error and they did not have our reservation. Needless to say we were not happy and were about to leave when Anthony apologized and said he would make it up to us. He offered us a complimentary bottle of wine, appetizers, an after dinner drink and desert. He provided us with a quiet table in the back, it had two lit candles and rose petals on it. My wife had the Chicken Ripieno, I had Rigatoni with Red Sauce, both meals were delicious and we finished off the meal with the Sicilian Cannoli. We will definitely return, thank you Anthony for making up for the reservation error and providing us with a romantic night to remember!!!

We were so surprised to enter this quaint little bistro and find an ambiance that was romantic, quiet, and oh so different! They have a table for 2 in the wine cellar! The service was excellent, the staff gracious, and the prices were reasonable. Highly recommend this!

This is our 4th visit, and we will keep coming back. This historic building is a beautiful place to eat (exposed brick and beams), and we have been overjoyed by the quality and taste of the food every time. The staff are usually very attentive. We have chosen multiple items on the menu and from the daily specials, and have been happy with everything. We get the Ceasar salad prepared for two tableside every time. It is delicious. Extensive wine list, with some yummy choices around the $30 mark. The food is a little pricey but the quality, the quantity, the atmosphere and the staff make it well worth it. For appetizers, we have tried Bistro Clams & Mussels, the Diver Scallops, and an amazing special with buffalo cheese, proscuitto, balsamic reduction. For entre's we have had salmon, the stuffed pork chop special, Veal Saltimbocca, Salmon Granato and my husband always gets the Filet Mignon, Scallops over seafood rissoto, and Broccolit and Sausage Siena. Dessert we have shared a cannoli and tara misu. All are amazing - I can't even pick a favorite. You will bring home a doggy bag and love it the next day too!!
The only criticism is the entire place is beautiful - except the ladies room. It's fairly clean, but they need to fix the stained ceiling tiles spruce it up.

This was our 4th visit to Bistro Romano, and it did not disappoint. The atmosphere is just as nice as it was previously, and the food was excellent. Even though it was Saturday night and virtually every table was taken, the service was also excellent. Still highly recommended!
