They have great seasonal beers. We go to have drinks before and after Terror Behind The Walls. They also have great cocktails and seasonal food.

“Food was good. Service was abismal.”
Reviewed October 6, 2012 via mobile

Went here with 2 friends after a trip to eastern state. It took 90 minutes to get 2 entrees and a soup. Not too mention the 25 minutes to get a cheese plate. Waiter did not ask us for any more drinks after the first round. Our check said 8:14 on it from when we ordered and it was handed to us at 9:50. 3 tables around us ate and left after we got there. Again, food was good so hopefully your waiter isn't useless.

“Hit and miss, going down hill”
Reviewed August 31, 2012 via mobile

I first encountered London about 5 years ago, first experience was great, cute little place with nice art, "Top Chef" type menu items, food was good, some things excellent.

All said, I have probably eaten there about 10-15 times, quick lunches with kids to meeting with friends for group dinners. Problem is this place is a big hit or miss.. With each meal, someone will have something that is delicious, while others will have something that is just plain bad or tasteless.

This is a place that is constantly changing the menu, so when you go back giving them another chance, you are dissapointed because the item that was delicious last time is no longer offered

After my last two visits, I have now given up... I find the servers are fake friendly, a smile but not really interacting, mistakes on the order and they just casually say "oh" ... no crab in the crab Mac and cheese which was bland anyway... Forgetting one app altogether...

Last visit, had to send back possibly the worst crab cake I've ever had, a pile of tasteless mush and the calamari smelled bad... Quality going way down... I'm giving up on them

Basically a place with a pretentious menu that they can't seem to live up to with service that is lacking the friendly charm they should have

“Lobster Special: Not So Special”
Reviewed August 30, 2012

Four of us went for the August lobster specials. Considering that lobsters from Maine and Canada are a glut on the market, The London grill got top dollar for small lobsters. All side dishes were extra. The men had oysters on the 1/2 shell and said they were very good. I ordered a glass of wine and thought it a short pour. I said so to the waiter, but he said it was "standard".
Would I be in any hurry to go back? No!!

“Fun neighborhood spot for drinks or dinner with sidewalk table service”
Reviewed June 28, 2012

This was my first time back to London Grill in about three years and this experience was consistent with the previous: good value, interesting menu, friendly service with a choice of atmospheres - sidewalk, sunroom, tavern, or watercolor room - depending on how casual you prefer. It seemed they had a problem with food temperature though.

We tried many different small plates and would recommend the crispy polenta and the tomato bread pudding. Both of these items were delicious and served at the appropriate temperature. The lamb meatballs and ratatouille were tasty, but they were not at the right temperature.
