Service was excellent as was the food and it was located in our hotel, so we did not have to use a cab or drive after drinking some wine, which this restaurant had many, many to try. All we had to do was find the elevator and push the right button!

We just happened upon the Ristorante Panorama while walking along Front Street. It popped up on a restaurant app map. We walked in on Sunday evening, April 7th, without a reservation and was seated in a quite corner. I ordered "Vitello con Pomodori Affumicati" and my wife ordered "Vitello Mandolese". We shared portions of our dishes with each other. We both loved both of these dishes. They were fantastic. My biggest regret is finding Ristorante Panorama on our last night in Philadelphia not the first. We would've definitely eaten there more than once during our 3 nights in Philadelphia.

The service, too, was outstanding. Attentive without being annoying.

Enjoy a flight of your favorite wines, order an appetizer or two and hang out to chill with a great ambience. There are few places that can offer such a great variety of wine by the glass and keep it all fresh with a very quality system.
If you are a wine connisuer or even enjoy a good glass now and then be sure to stop by while you are in Philly!

I wandered into Panorama in the Penn View Hotel on Front St. to have a beer while waiting for my wife. Skip the beer: Panorama is the place for wine, over 1230 of which are available by the glass, using an ingenious system which pumps nitrogen into the bottle to prevent deterioration of the wine, and plastic hoses to spigots for the pours. If this sounds strangely unwine like, it's not. Panorama is very highly regarded for its wine list and presentation. Alec, the bartender/waiter, is a delightful man, who recommended the David Bynum chardonnay, which was just splendid. Our dinners were delicious, and I recommend Panorama with the highedst marks. We would not revisit Philadelphia without revisiting Panorama.

With a Guinness Record for wines on tap by the glass, over 125, this is the place to try wine. A huge selection of 5 small glass flights sorted by variety and region in all price ranges. Friendly knowledgable bar service. Interesting setting. Food is very good. I have been here both on pleasure as a couple, with friends and hosting a business group. All positive experience. Easy walking distance to all other spots in Old City. Stay at the Hotel if you can and just walk upstairs after you taste all the wine.
