We sat outside and had a Philly Cheesesteak. Nice area to relax for a few minutes outside. Great bread. Steak was tender and delicious!

While in town we had to have a cheesesteak. Campo's was just down the corner from us. I enjoyed their cheesesteak. The meat was delicious and it was not greasy. We lucked into a lull so we were served quickly. It seems so much more relaxed than the circus you see at Gino's and Pat's.

I heard alot about Campos which is why I visited but was dissapointed. The cashier was rude and cheesesteak was not made properly. Mac and cheese was horrible, I've definitely had better cheesesteaks! I felt like I wasted my money, dont believe the hype!!!

During our short visit to Philly of course we had to try a cheese steak. Our travels brought us by Campos which the VisitPhilly website claimed was one of the original. Staff was very friendly. Inside was very crowded. Not sure how they expect 2 lines of people in such a small space, they would be better off letting the line go outside. Then there was no clear way of knowing who was actually taking your order, the guys making the food or the cashier. They tried to make a joke out of us not paying attention. You know what, it's your business and if you aren't used to people coming in for the first time. Their childrens menu was written on a small scrap of paper hidden by other items at cash register so we were not even aware there were options for our kids so i went next door to market and got them fruit. Your loss. Food wasn't bad but nothing great. Sorry my husband makes better cheese steaks. We will go somewhere else next time.

It's a family operation and you can tell by their phenomenal attitude and service. Oh yeah, and the food is tremendous. Last year our family had a sandwich tour of Philadelphia and the sixth and last stop was Campo's. After tasting The Stockyard, everyone in our group got their own. Mia, thank you for everything for our meeting at Fox Tuesday night, the food was a huge hit. You are the best. Pleeeeezze never take The Stockyard off the menu!
