We didn't have that great a brunch experience here, but it wasn't all Rouge's fault. After trying several places that were full, we accepted Rouge's eat-at-the-bar offer. And we were right by the door on a cold morning. But we agreed to all that so it's hard to complain. The food was decent. A lamb burger was properly cooked as ordered, but served without an accompaniment. Other dishes showed creativity and were tasty. Portions were average size, which is good or bad depending on your perspective. Service from the bartender was good, but the food took some time to appear. All in all, we didn't give this place a good test, and we have no reason to think that better is not possible.. I would have given 3.5 stars if I could.
