“Excellent experience”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 24, 2013

After dining here for nearly a decade, I can see why it's still going strong. After some renovations and attention to detail, still one of the best spots in Philly. The pastas are all made in house and haven't had a wood fire oven pizza this good since being in Italy. Had the classic pear and walnut salad and a crisp white, and sat outside to watch old city life! The new outside seating is amazing

“Great location, great salad, solid, easy, sit down”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 3, 2013

Wanted a quick but sit down lunch for family of four (including young kids). They were accommodating with kids. Burger was good. Salad was great. Waitress was hard to understand (new tongue ring - gross!) but fine service. Not as cheap as a deli sandwich or quick slice but it was chilly, we had time to kill, and a nice place to recharge our batteries. Location was killer (Market at 3rd, just south of Betsy Ross and due west of historic green with Independence Hall, Liberty Bell, etc.) so on that alone, we were happy.

“Very good fun in a wonderful location!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 3, 2013

We stayed in the historic area near 3rd. Stopped in for dinner and we were thrilled, The service and food were both excellent. My friend had the pork tenderloin, 4" by 2" of cooked perfection! I had the wood oven pizza and the pear salad and I am already craving more!

“Great food, service at decent prices. ”

Went there for lunch and loved the staff and food. Deserts were really good too. Staff was super busy with a huge group that walked in, but still they were making sure we were well served.

“Staff was great...Food was ok”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 29, 2013 via mobile

We were in the city to do the Liberty Bell and independence Hall thing. After we checked out the Ben Franklin Printing press we walked one block down to Pizzicato. Our waitress was great. She was super nice to us and our girls. My pear walnut salad looked nice and tasted good not great Two had burgers they were good not great...but the skinny fries were yummy. My other daughter ordered the kids pizza. It was what I call a "bar pie" size which is a lot for one kid. You could buy one for two kids. She loved it ( age 6) but we thought is was an oily mess. They have a wood burning stove so I thought the pie would be much better than it was. So many places to eat in the city so I will go somewhere else next time.
