This was our first visit here to the Moshulu. It has a very nice ambiance for a ship that is almost 110 years old. We really enjoyed that fact that the ship still has the angled floor which gives it that realistic feel. The staff was very friendly and attentive. I was surprised when the hostess didn't offer to take our coats but did with another couple. Minor detail but odd with the difference from one couple to the next. So, we had to lay our coats by the window. We received quick service from our server. We had the soup de jour which was a lentil soup of some kind. The description sounded delicious and so we ordered it. And, it was delicious! The bread with their fresh butter was outstanding. My wife had the sliced lamb sandwich which was also very good. I had the blackened chicken with apple and not so good. Couldn't taste the apples and the sandwich just had an overwhelming amount of mustarda. I wouldn't order that sandwich again, but I would go back and eat again. Two sandwiches, soup, and a glass of wine brought us to $50.00. First fine dining lunch experience in Philly.
