Be aware up front that it's cash only and BYOB, but the food and service are great! The chicken ceasar salad is fantastic. The lemonade with sorbet is not to be missed either on a hot day (try the mango). Nice atmosphere as well.

I went with seven people to this wonderful restaurant. We decided to share our food with everyone so we can taste all the different dishes.I had the salmon with mashed potatoes and asparagus. I did not want to share it was so good! I tasted the lamb, pasta and vegetable couscous. Everything was delicious. Fig's is a small restaurant so it's a good idea to have reservations. They also only take cash.

Small but cozy, this restaurant has excellent food - well prepared and delicious - and intimate ambience. Close to the Philadelphia Museum and Barnes Collection, so great for an evening after. The BYOB allows it to be very affordable. Parking in the immediate area is difficult, but free parking two blocks down on Fairmount Park/ Pennsylvania Ave (Gold Joan of Arc statue you can't miss!). mitigates that issue.

In spite of many tempting Moroccan-influenced dishes on the menu, I went with the whole fish--which that night, was Branzino--and was rewarded with a moist and perfectly cooked fish. I don't think I left a flake on the plate. One caution for diners who are not "locals," and that is that evening parking is very tough to find nearby. Plan to allow enough time to circle round patiently--and don't give up!

Just two blocks up 25th street from the museum oval, this eatery will warm foodie hearts. known mostly to locals, Mustafa the owner prepares enlightened Moroccan food. Cozy fairly priced and consistent, makes this a predictable choice for small groups. BYOB, no corkage fees. Shhh! tell your freinds.
