Usually it is the Peruvians who make the best ceviche, and while that remains true, this Cuban restaurant has great ceviche.

so go eat ceviche.

I visited this restaurant after work with a colleague. We both have lived in the Caribbean and enjoyed the food. It was happy hour so there was a discount on the drinks. We ordered a few small plates (olives, almonds, yucca) and also entries. We were on the first floor. It's dark but nicely furnished.

Had booked this meal prior to leaving Scotland and wasnt disapointed one bit! Our original booking was half 8 but jet lag caught up with us and we were happy to be allowed to switch our meal to an earlier time. The service was great from start to finish and they took us through the menu and made some excellent recomendations. We ordered the most amazing cocktails which with the decoration of the restaurant actually made you feel in Cuba! Our starters and main courses were so full of flavours that each mouthful was amazing! One of the best meals we've ever had just wish it was closer to home!!

For appetizers, we tried the Alma sampler, 3 different apps of which the fig was the best; a surprise in delicious sweet and salty flavors. Main course of skirt steak and lentil cake both really delicious. I wouldn't reorder the tuna taco or carrot side, and my special mojito didn't have enough sweetness for my taste...Service was outstanding. Nice atmosphere. Would definitely go back and recommend.

Excellent food and atmosphere. I'm Cuban and I'm used to very good Cuban food and this place was authentic and fantastic! Highly recommend. Perfect to celebrate special occasions or just a great night out.
