“Great location & great hotel”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 2, 2014 via mobile

I've stayed at this hotel several times over the past 6 months & have nothing but good things to say! The location is perfect (right across from Readington terminal) Convention center and a quick walk to attractions within Philly. The rooms are mini suites so there much larger then a standard hotel room. They have a mini kitchen with a full size fridge & keurig coffee maker. The small living room in separated by a drape which you can pull closed.
There's a coffee station available 24hrs which is a nice touch & though we usually go to Readington Terminal for breakfast (great pastries, Bagels & doughnuts.)
The continental breakfast included is nice & worth a stop as well.
Overall, one of my favorite places to stay overnight in Philadelphia.

We decided to try this property on our way back from DC. The location is good, and there are plenty of restaurants around. The rooms are spacious enough, however we found that the "free breakfast" is of poor quality. Parking next door is an expensive experience so all in all, when we go back to Philadelphia we will certainly chose to stay in another hotel

Liany,

Thank you for taking time to provide feedback regarding you recent stay and for choosing Home2 Suites by Hilton while visiting Philadelphia. We are glad to hear you enjoyed our central location here in Philadelphia and our spacious all suite hotel. I apologize for any inconvenience you experienced with our Inspired Table Breakfast offerings. May we recommend the Reading Terminal Market which is packed with numberous eateries for both breakfast and lunch.

Safe travels,

I have always been very pleased with most Hilton Properties. However, this new Home2 was as good as any property I have ever stayed in. Staff was also very friendly and helpful. In addition it was also very close to the convention center which was my reason for coming.

I have been a loyal Hilton patron for years, usually traveling 30 or more weeks a year and always achieving Hilton Honor's highest membership level. However this is my very first stay at this brand. As a Hilton property I expected a high level of service and the property did not disappointed. The suite I reserved was sufficient for my needs and it was clean and very comfortable. They have a curious housekeeping schedule but this particular facility did not follow it and instead provide a full hotel service 7 days a week; that was a big plus for me. The breakfast area was smaller that it needs to be for a full hotel, I supposes it is appropriate for most days but when I was there it was at a time of a mayor sporting activity and the property was sold out to a very large and young group of athletes so the breakfast area was very crowded and very busy; this make it also very disorganized and down right dirty; not because they service staff wasn't trying hard but because the facility was inadequate for such a large group using it at one time. The set up was also wrong, the entire bar was in a single line so even if you needed just a piece of bread from near the center you had to wait for people using the microwave in the middle of the line. Not really well planed. I ended up running across the street to the Reading Terminal Market for breakfast; which is a great place for any meal and conveniently located for this property. Other than breakfast, that needs to be improved, my stay was great. The property was well appointed, perfectly located for downtown Philly and the Reading Market and the suites were perfectly suited for my needs. I'll be back.

Room Tip: Choose a one bedroom suite instead of a studio suite, it will give you more room but will make your...

This is the first time I've stayed at an "extended" stay by Hilton. The Home2 Suites was excellent!
Clean, convenient, lots of space.

We were in for a wedding. It was great that it was centrally located for all those little things you need to do before the wedding, mani-pedi, shopping, etc. It was nice to be able to walk to everything and then, very convenient to get in a cab and go to the venue.

It has a small kitchen attached which included refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, toaster, and small 2 burner stove.

Really all you need!

Room is very spacious, however the bed is quite small. Probably 160x200 or 180x200 for a queen bed. Location is closed to city center. It has magnetron, and kitchenettes. Breakfast was quite ok. Some waffel, toast, yoghurt, fruits, eggs, cereals. They could do much better with the space of the room. Dont get me wrong, the room is huge, but it s lacking of character, or amenities sort to say. Nevertheless, I can't say that is bad either. Will I come back mmm... let me see.. I am staying at Loew's in the next couple of days which a block further. Loew's is a bit more expensive than Hilton (You can check the price yourself), but I will wirte a head to head review between the two... enjoy your stay..

The hotel is lovely, new, and modern.
Rooms are NYC-Apartment/Dorm Style with a full-sized refrigerator, dishes, and appliances including a dishwasher, toaster, and microwave.
Unfortunately, no bath tub and no take-away shampoo.
The indoor pool and fitness center are lovely but there is no bar or restaurant.
The free breakfast buffet is great but the front desk told me it was from 6-10 when it closed at 9am during the week and I didn't find out until I went down at 9:30 and everything was gone.
I booked one night through Travelocity and another night directly through the hotel.
I made sure to let the front desk know when I checked in but they never held the room, so when I tried to come in after 3pm the following day, my key didn't work.
They did make it right and apologize.
Parking is $40/day in one of those giant lots next door.
