A great place to wander with the man or woman of your dreams especially in the Spring, Summer or Fall. They have special exhibitions and occasional concerts.

Cool place, free for Penn students and grads...otherwise be ready to pay...alot! The gardens are peaceful and the variety of trees is impressive. Only problems would be the accessibility to public transit and lack of food...if you are taking the bus, be prepared to walk about a mile along a busy sun-parched avenue...its safe to say, you need to drive to feel comfortable getting here. Also, there isn't much aside from vending machines, so you might want to bring your own food.

My wife and I were looking for something to do outside on a beautiful sunny April day and came across the Morris Arboretum. We decided to go in order to be among the many gardens, picturesque scenery and to escape from the hustle and bustle of life. What we found when we arrived at Morris Arboretum was an oasis of calm and beauty. We enjoyed the educational aspects of learning about the many types of trees, flowers, and bushes on the property. We also enjoyed learning about the history and architecture of how the property was created. The vision that went into maintaing and restoring the space is quite remarkable. It was very interesting to understand the many gardens, pathways and exhibits were art created. We had a pleasant time walking among the many exhibits and learning as we went. Please give yourself enough time to walk the property and be among the grounds. It would be interesting to visit during different points of the year especially with the among of florals that bloom at different times. It certainly added quite the array of color that we were able to be there in Spring. There are multiple areas to visit and the grounds are worth the price of admission. I highly suggest this place if you are looking to go on a date, spend time with your spouse, educate your children on agriculture and conservation, or be among the true beauty of nature this world has to offer.
