The Cornerstone Bed and Breakfast in Philadelphia, PA, is near the University of Pennsylvania (an 11-minute walk according to one of the guests) and Drexel University, and also the Philadelphia Museum of Art. The 30th St. train station is also nearby. The charming Victorian home is in a neighborhood of similar structures - all are two-family attached houses.
The rooms are lovely and the breakfast was delicious. We had scrambled eggs, a baked cheese dish, fresh banana bread, and, of course, coffee.
There are two suites for families or groups traveling together. Each can accommodate up to four people. One of the suites is on the third floor, one on the second. In addition, there are four individual rooms to accommodate two people each. The Philadelphia room is the only one on the first floor. All have private baths, but note that the bathroom for the Franklin room is down the hall. A robe is provided in the room.
Highly recommended!

Room Tip: Franklin has a private bath, but it is down the hall. If stairs are a problem, the Philadelphia room...

The l9h century stone-faced house with a later ample porch is situated in an area with plenty of Victorian-era houses, about a 20-25 minute stroll from the University of Pennsylvania and Drexel University--less time needed if you walk faster. The welcome is warm, the furnishings attractive, the rooms and dining room are clean and nicely furnished. The weekend breakfast includes a perfect quiche and plenty of other good things, and a fellow guest expressed complete satisfaction with the weekday continental breakfasts. The shower was excellent. You'll like the stained glass windows and the dining room ceiling. You'll also like the flexibility of the combination lock for the front door, so you can stay out late without keeping your hosts awake.

Completely agree with the praise of other reviewers.

Our very best B&B experience, ever!

Enjoyed a very pleasant early evening neighborhood walk.

Morning walk to the Amtrak Station took 20 minutes.

We will stay at The Cornerstone again when returning to Philadelphia!

Room Tip: Suite was excellent!

Stayed here to visit Philadelphia prior to driving elsewhere. Great location for walking to the Art Museums and the university. We took a shuttle to Cornerstone from the airport which eliminated the problem of parking in the city and then picked up our rental car at the 30th street train station. The rental rate was better than at the airport, too. Nicely restored home with a pleasant breakfast provided. Helpful staff.

Spent 3 nights there for an anniversary trip. Walked from airport regional train stop (30th), never needed a cab. Fine room, bed and bathroom. Right by Drexel, but student noise was minimal. Proprietor generally working in common areas, so not much use of those for guests
