Some people are so focused on Independence Hall and the Liberty Bell that they overlook other important things to see, like Congress Hall. Don't miss seeing this and learning about how it serves to complete the picture of our nation's start.

I loved this reminder of how our country began and the people that were involved. You almost feel like you are back in time! And it was totally free!

Congress hall was the first national capital building. Here four presidents were sworn in at least once, three states were designated (VT, KY, and TN), and what the first congress and Senate first met for ten years before moving to DC.

We had conveniently just finished touring independence hall when the tour guide informed us there would be a tour in ten minutes. Glad we did! The hall was very interesting, the guide (his name was Larry) was very informative and worked towards teaching the kids and getting them involved. Great stop on Philadelphia tour and another important piece of American history.

This was an added bonus for us. It is within the security area for independence hall. The guide was very informative and interesting. Make this a must see if going to independence hall.

Also free to visit and not requiring tickets, this place is definitely worth a stop.

It certainly reinforces our history and the Washington and Adams presidencies in this great city. To sit in the House and see the Senate was truly inspiring.
