The best venue in the world for a concert. Just saw Dianna Krall there and the acoustics are remarkable...always have been and they keep getting better and better!

Beautiful concert hall that had Peter Nero, a Philadelphia Grammy winning treasure as its conductor and musical director...he was replace and the Pops are not the same with "canned" productions from the new conductor ...that can be heard with orchestras of other cities. Not the same anymore.

Stick with the Philadelphia Symphony Orchestra with their wonder new musical director: Yyannick Nézet-Séguin

Wonderful venue for shows. Great accoustics. A first class venue. I have seen a violin performance and sat in the last row and sound was great. I sat in the first row for Steve Martin and sound was good there as well.

I use to have season tickets to the Philadelphia Orchestra. When this facility opened up I thought it was one of the most unique places in Philadelphia and around the world to see a concert. Sound quality excellent, beautiful visually.

Wonderful concert by the Philadelphia Orchestra on 2 October! A stagehand strike having forced the last-minute cancellation of the Gala Opening Concert at NYC's Carnegie Hall, the Orchestra decided to stage a free, "Pop-Up" concert at the Verizon Hall instead. Dressed in casual attire, just like the huge audience, Yannick and the Orchestra performed a first-rate programme. First, Marche Slav by Tchaikovsky, then Don Giovanni Overture by Mozart, followed by the Bacchanale from Samson et Dalila. Next, Yannick handed the baton to a 10-year girl for Rossini's William Tell Overture! The Orchestra finished with a terrific performance of Ravels' Bolero, before giving an Encore of Tchaikovsky's Onegin Waltz. This impromptu concert will surely encourage and motivate many new (and young) patrons to come and support the Orchestra.
