Went to See Simón Bolívar Symphony Orchestra of Venezuela and the sound was excellent, nice parking, nice location, clean and very well maintained. I did enjoy the experience very much.

We went to see the production of Beauty and the Beast in the children's theater. We were not pleased with the production. The singing was just dreadful and the beast's costume was ridiculous. We had our 5 and 7 year old daughter and son with us and this is the first production we have taken them to where they were just bored and anxious to leave. We've taken them to broadway shows and other community theater as ell s another production at this theater. However, this one was just not worth the effort. Seats are great and the few is unobstructed from any place. The intimacy is great but none of that mattered with this production. Meeting the characters afterwards is always enjoyable though it would help if there was a rope to force people to wait on an orderly line and not push those ahead out of the way.

Cheap is relative; the Philadelphia Orchestra's prices are about double the San Francisco Symphony's. Not quite sure why. But the clarity of sound is amazing, up in the third tier.

Building is terribly ugly (at least inside, you can't see that).

The café sandwiches were fresh-made, but uninspired at best. Eat before you go.

A beautiful performance hall, although the seats are tiny! We sat on the main floor half way back, row N, middle of the aisle. The concert was fantastic, but we couldn't see the brass or percussion because our seats were below the stage. Next trip we will try to get seats on the first tier.

Saw the Philadelphia Orchestra on Valentine's Day. They performed Carmina Burana and it was top notch. Great seats all around in the Verizon Hall. They had 2 bar stations opened before the show, great location in Philly.
