“Awesome food!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 8, 2013

We dined outside with a party of 5 and were quickly seated. Our waitress was extremely friendly and helpful when we asked about the dishes. The food was tasty and cooked to perfection! The portions are small, but are meant to be shared with everyone on the table. Highly recommend their Sangria and skirt steak!

“Delicious Spanish tapas”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 6, 2013

Dined here on my birthday. The bacon-wrapped dates were divine, and the brussels sprouts were prepared in a delectably savory way. The papas fritas were great, too, having just the right amount of seasoning and crunch. To me, the only dish that was not A+ were the camarones al ajillo. Everything else was excellent. I look forward to my next visit.

“Casual, delicious and friendly”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 1, 2013

I love small plates--lots to choose from and makes for a really social dining experience. Without reservations, we stopped to eat early last night. We were seated immediately and our server couldn't have been more friendly. We had the pear, arugula and jamon salad, the potatoes(can't remember the spanish name) that were unbelievably tasty, shrimp and chicken. All the plates were delicious. The lighting in the restaurant is a little dark, but did not detract from the dinner. I love this restaurant row in Midtown Village--great restaurants and wonderful shops. I would highly recommend if you visit Philadelphia that you check this out.

“Perfect Service, Perfect Food, Perfect Night!!!!!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 22, 2013 via mobile

This place is really amazing!! We loved our server, JESSICA, she was one of the best servers we ever had. The food was incredible, and with the service she provided us, it was an outstanding night. We can't wait to go back. Our night started out at the bar, we had an amazing cocktail, slow and steady,it was called. So delicious. The bartender was super friendly, the atmosphere is gorgeous! A little small, but we did not mind. When we sat down at the table, Jessica offered me a sample of two wines because I was undecided on what to order. How nice? She was so so sweet, and extremely attentive. Went to their sister restaurant Barbuzzo a few months ago, that was also great!! Can't wait to go back to Jamonera, and we will definitely request Jessica. Lg

“Something for everyone”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 29, 2013

This is a delicious little tapas and wine bar in the center of Philadelphia, which, despite the name of the restaurant, has many good vegetarian options. The cocktails are excellent, and the food was complex and sometimes surprising. The eggplant fries with truffle oil were a hit, as was the short ribs dish. We did feel a little rushed.
