We had wanted to visit Heirloom for quite some time and reservations are difficult to obtain. It was certainly worth the wait. Charming ambience albeit a little noisy. Wonderful dinner with extremely fresh ingredients - very clean food! Three of us enjoyed the special appetizer which was a homemade motzarella over a fennel cake - absolutely delicious. My husband had the nectarine and beet salad which was also a hit. Entrees were Sea Bass with Crab, Short Ribs with Grilled Peaches and Veal with noodles. Not a morsel was left on anyone's plate. For desert we shared the raspberry sorbet with fresh berries and the incredible donut with apples, caramel and ice cream. Service was exceptional!

Cannot wait to go back to this charming BYOB!

is my general review of this place. Also, if you offer a table at 8:00 and can't seat till 8:45, be real and offer two general seatings. Beet salad excellent, octopus dish, way too salty. Very good service other than the seating hiccup. Will go back.

I have very good wines and i love to find a restaurant that can put out a menu that complements the high ends of my collection.
The prices are a little high for a neighborhood experience, and the portions are not generous. That being said, the food all looks and tastes great, The service is better than most center city places. It is best to go early or late on a week day as they are crowded on weekends. We are anxious to return with our more critcal friends. We know they will love it.

Disappointing given the rave reviews we have seen. Very capable, attentive staff. Size/shape of dinner plates not suited to our tiny "deuce" table. Most dishes were unexpectedly bland. My roasted mahi-mahi was good but unremarkable despite its being one of the day's specials. Free parking and BYOB compensate somewhat.

We live about 5 minutes away, which may end up being a problem for us! Best farm-to-table we've tried (and don't want to beat that phrase to death, maybe I should just start calling it "earthy food"). As good as Talaluh's Garden, but probably less expensive, and BYOB. The bisquits and cornbread were so good, the apps all tasty (I am not going to go into all the things we have tried, but have tasted from the winter and spring menus...everything was delicious) and I think our favorite entree was the pork cheeks off the spring menu. We're picky about service, and the the service was excellent as well. Portions are more on the generous side for a restaurant as this. You do not leave hungry. We have made a reservation to take our mom's there for brunch next week (not mother's day) and I can't wait!
