“For adults not for little ones”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 13, 2012

While the Money in Motion display was very informative our kids were bored. Too much to read for little ones who much preferred the Mint. They did get a bag of shredded money and changed a regular quarter for an Acadia quarter.

“Well done display--plus shredded money”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 9, 2012

We visited this attraction on a recommendation from the guards at the Mint. Our kids (15, 11 and 8) enjoyed most of the displays. Our youngest loved the space age security checkpoint when you first enter. Everyone who goes into the display receives a free shredded bag of money souvenior. Recommend that you take some quarters with you--you can exchange them for the latest National Park quarters in an "ATM". The interactive displays are free and worth the time.

“Quarters for quarters”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 1, 2012

Our favorite part of the display was being able to put a quarter in the machine to receive a replacement quarter from the state series. The kids enjoyed deciding who qualified for loans and learning about money in general. We were the only people in the place on a busy Saturday, so it is not a hot spot, but we liked it.

“Learn About Money”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 14, 2012

Money in Motion exhibit housed 17 interactive displays which taught you about money including how it gets to you, security features, how checks are processed, banking and identity theft protection. Put a quarter in the machine and get the latest addition quarter in the America the Beautiful Quarters Program. You will also receive a $100 (too bad it is shredded). Free. Located across from Constitution Center.

“Money in Motion”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 13, 2011

Wouldnt recommend for younger children.Located across the street from Independence Square. The display is in a quiet lobby area of the Federal Reserve. Money in Motion is a walk through with push button talking displays. They do have security screening to go through like at the airport. Gives an overview of the Federal Reserves responsibilities. They do have a cart of $5 bills on display that was amazing to gaze at and realize it was 1.8 million dollars (if I remember correctly). No pictures or videos are allowed
