Arriving around 12:30, we were surprised to see that all tables were full. Informed that our wait would be about 30 minutes, my friends who had eaten there before were more than willing to wait. This restaurant is open until 5:00 on weekdays, 6:00 on weekends. Though a glass of red wine is offered with the meal (even at lunch), it is a BYOB - and it was noted that the other customers were happily taking advantage of this fact. The atmosphere was jovial with the patrons (but note very noisy), and the staff was constantly moving. The place is incredibly small (there were other customers that entered and left when informed of the wait-time). My friend with a mobility impairment, though able to use the ramp on the side of the building, needed to remain standing during the 30 minutes before we were seated. However, the staff was very upfront of the time factor, and it was my friend's decision to stay. The wait staff was attentive, yet because it was so busy, one should not come if rushed. Now the food - it was delicious and I am eager to return to try their pasta and sauce. The panini I ordered was exceptional and had a delicious flavor. The serving was large (it also came with a salad). And of course the dessert was exquisite! I will definitely return to sample their other menu choices.

Located in the heart of South Philly this little trattoria is directly across from
the legendary Termini bakery and is owned by them. It has deceptively simple Italian fare with fresh ingredients that change seasonally and weekly. The atmosphere is warm and friendly and a free glass of wine is served with the
meal. It also includes a wonderful dessert. The hours are from 10-6 so one has to plan accordingly and it is a small place so it can get crowded. There is a parking lot across the street for convenience. I heartily recommend this place.

After reading lots of reviews on other sites, we decided we had to eat here. It is located directly across the street from the Termini bakery in south Philly. The atmosphere is fantastic- like an old fashioned neighborhood diner. You must get here by 4:30 pm as the doors are closed then! Once in, sit back and enjoy a fabulous dinner.
You will be offered a complimentary glass of house wine. Each dinner comes with a delicious fresh green salad and good homemade crusty bread. The olive oil on the dressing was so rich and good. There are half a dozen pasta choices and a couple daily specials. We enjoyed a spicy penne and a cheese ravioli. The portions were very generous. And if all that delicious food wasn't enough, dinner includes a scrumptious dessert! (I think it comes from the bakery across the street) We were fortunate to get tirimisu that evening. All this- wine, salad, fresh bread, pasta, and dessert was only $13 a plate. Add to that the homey atmosphere and pleasant service and this is a great evening.
Remeber to arrive by 4:30. Also it is cash only! ENJOY.
