“A scrumptious lunch was had by all”
Reviewed May 24, 2014

We stopped into this cafe to grab a quick lunch. This was our first trip to Philadelphia and while enjoying the sights of the district was stopped in to the cafe. It's a grand location to people watch and the food is excellent. One particular favorite was the spinach mushroom quiche with a simple, yet delicious salad. The atmosphere is relaxing and the coffee a treat. The servers were fantastic and genuinely friendly. Well worth the price, the time and the experience.

“very decadent meals wonderful price”
Reviewed May 4, 2014

We visited philly for a weekend trip to explore independence hall and all the history in Philadelphia Shaun the concierge at the rodeway inn reccomended Le Pain as it was very close to many attractions. The breakfast we had here was very decadent and very reasonably priced. Had an amazing Kale salad, never thought a kale salad could be so flavorable very happy with this establishment. def worth a visit

“Delicious food, friendly atmosphere”
Reviewed March 15, 2014

Extensive menu with delicious, fresh food! We ate here two times on a short weekend trip to Philly, once for an afternoon snack and once for breakfast. The gentleman at the counter was so pleasant and friendly, and the food was so tasty. The ham omelette came with a delightful green salad with light, citrusy dressing, and warm fresh bread. Tea-to-go comes in two sizes, both for the same price. I would definitely return to this location when visiting the area again. It is a little pricey, but fresh, healthy food is worth a bit more money in my opinion.

“Always a pleasure”

Every time I am in the neighborhood, I choose this restaurant for breakfast or lunch. The food is fresh, the coffee is delicious and the speculoos spread is to die for.
