I have come to this place 3 or 4 times. It only seems to get better each time. I love the salads, soups, stuffed cabbage and kabobs. In fact I have liked everything I've tried. The lamb rib, Luda and chicken heart kabobs are the best. I just went yesterday and can't wait to go back again.

Just enjoyed another great meal at Uzbekistan. We really love taking visiting family and friends to enjoy a real Russian experience at Uzbekistan. We always include their delicious shashlik like lamb or chicken. Melts in your mouth. Cant comment on desert........ we're always too stuffed to even think about it.

Bring your favorite beer, wine, or even a bottle of vodka to enjoy with your meal.

Service can sometimes be slow, especially if the restaurant is full.

Our friends were taking us out to a Turkish resturant, but it was closed for renovations, and the owner sent us to Ubekistan. We were naturally leery and showed up to find a large Saturday crowd without reservations. To our delight the manager seated us at a great table in about 20 minutes, and we enjoyed great tasting, authentic Russian food with generous portions at a modest price. We were only patrons speaking English, and we felt like we had left Philly and stepped into Eastern Europe for the evening.

I would highly reccomend this resturant but be certain to make reservations and ask for indoor seating.

We celebrated Womens' Day at Uzbekistan (a group of 18 women) and enjoyed every minute of it. Timely service and excellent food combined with a very home-like atmosphere made it memorable! The restaurant was packed but all orders came in in a timely fashion without any delays!. The fish shish-kebob, chicken hearts and lamb kebobs are to die for and the famous honey cake completed our meal! Highly recommend for any occasion!
