I must say that the staff at this property was amazing. I was there to get my daughter set-up in college and they helped with every possible detail, right down to helping us find someone to actually move her into the dorm. Look for Phyllis or Raz & they will help you with any need that you have. Additionally, beds were comfortable. Rooms were clean. 24-hour coffee/tea/hot chocolate, hot breakfast. Coin laundry. Great location. Walking distance to most places and if it's too far to walk, just look for Phyllis or Raz & they can tell you the best way to get there - right down to the actual bus number, if needed. I will stay there every time I visit my daughter!

Thank you for taking the time to write this review. Yes Phyllis and Raz are very good employees and since they work the bell stand can help all guests with directions/transportation/and local attractions. This feedback is very much appreciated and will be reviewed by all.

Very comfortable and wellcoming rooms. Really clean towells, sheets and duvets. Spacious room, although no safe deposit box in the room. Staff was very gently. Breakfast with many options. Nice location within a walking distance from many tourist attractions.

I was pleasantly surprised with this hotel, it was close to the convention center as well as Market Street activities. The room was clean and even though I was right outside the elevators the hotel was quieter than many hotels I have frequented previously. The breakfast is what you would expect, handy to get a quick bite but nothing elaborate. The only pet peeve was the styrofoam cups in the hotel room for coffee and the plastic dinnerware and silverware at breakfast. There is nothing worse than trying to eat a waffle with a plastic knife and fork! Otherwise, the hotel was very nice.

I just came back from my 2 night stay there and I have to say....I so wanted to give this a 5, but one main point prevents it....location. The hotel is very nice and the staff was great. The indoor pool and gym were very nice and clean. The outdoor patio was great to sit and watch the game while the wife smoked....Very comfortable seats and was always being checked by staff for cleanliness. The breakfast in the AM was great. It was not very crowded when we were there, but there are lots of seats there, so seating should never be a problem.....My only issue was the location. It's not the best location in Philly and get's a little nervous at night as it's not very busy. Other than that, I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone and would be happy to answer any questions about my experience there.

We appreciate all the great comments concerning the hotel. The hotel's location is a couple blocks away from center city but many people like it because it is less noisy. We will certainly pass this along to the associates.

Staff : very friendly and helpful.

Room : very clean rooms and no odd smells of any sort. Beds were very comfy and the pillows very soft. My only complaint was that the garbage cans were tiny, we were forced to leave refuse on the floor because of this.

Breakfast : I enjoyed the brown bag with water, muffin, fruit and cereal bar. Coffee and hot chocolate were available 24/7.

Value : Self park was only $25 (valet $35). The room was a great value for the location. I would definitely stay here again.

Thank you for taking the time to write this review. The feedback is appreciated and your comment about the trash can is correct. What makes it smaller is that it's split in half due to recycling. We are working on this.
Thanks for being our guest.

The hotel was very nice and clean, located in downtown Philadelphia. Its within walking distance to the convention center, so many nice restaurants and their famous city hall. Also, its within walking distance to the subway if you need to get anywhere else in town. The staff was very nice and super helpful. Anything I needed they took care of it immediately and of course they have Continental breakfast every morning, a pool, and 24-hour gym. I was very happy with my stay at Hampton Inn. The only thing I can say is hopefully I get to stay longer the next time I visit.

We stayed just one night but found the hotel to be very comfortable and convenient to everything in downtown Philadelphia. The only negative is the cost of parking. $25.00/ day to park in an outdoor lot a half block away but with 24/7 security and easy in and out. It's likely that most other hotels in the center of downtown have to deal with the same "lack of convenient parking" issues. It's definitely a major negative on the hotel, but in the end, being so convenient to everything probably mitigates the cost. Everyone we dealt with both in the hotel and in the parking lot were very helpful, and courteous.

Thank you for writing your review of the Hampton Inn Philadelphia. We appreciate the feedback and review these with the staff. The parking is a challenge for most hotels in this city and price is always an issue. Some hotels own their lots but we don't so it's operated by a 3rd party. We give 2 options valet and self park and we are competitive with the price.
Thanks for all the great praise of the hotel.
