Description: Perch Pub has been completely renovated into a comfortable, relaxed, unpretentious pub. The dining room and bar has one of the best dining views in the city for people watching- separate areas for a pool table and dart board. Other amenities include a juke box, HDTVs and a large drop-down projection screen in the dining room for those big games. The interior has the feel of a time-less pub; lots of rich mahogany finishes complimented by large areas of exposed brick and metal beams. Perch promises to have pub grub excellence with Chef Bill Carroll at the kitchen helm. Open at 4PM seven days a week with plans to expand our hours of operation to lunch Monday through Friday and a Saturday / Sunday brunch.

We stopped here for drinks and a late supper with a friend. They had many brands of microbrew and interesting beers and they all seemed pretty reasonable. My friend picked a beer for $6 and I got one for $5. They were both excellent and worth the money. Now for the food... My fiance got a lamb burger and he ordered it rare. It came very well done and was not very tasty. The fries were regular fries -- not good, not bad. But, our bill for two beers, two tap waters, two sodas and one burger with fries was $40! Since the waters were free and the beers were only $11, the soda and burger/fries somehow ended up costing a ton and even if they had only been $10, it wouldn't have been worth it.

Stopped here pre theater to grab a quick bite. Got a table overlooking broad street - which was just a great people-watching spot. Casual food - great burgers and the beer selection is tops. One in my group had the fish and chips and gave it raves. I had the French Comte Cheese burger - to die for good (melts in your mouth). Dark beers were excellent.

Atmosphere is upscale pub. Crowded, but pleasantly so. Wait staff was terrific - very knowledgeable about the beers and food, so we asked for recommendations. All of which worked out. Definitely is now a "go to" spot for us when in the city.

Found this place by accident, it was the busiest place we had seen on TG weekend. The service was quick, great choice of micro brews as well as cocktails. Food is your standard gastro pub, but it was tasty (onion ring V greasy though) It cut into half pub, half rest so the atmos is lively but not overly noisy. It's a great spot to meet friends and get something to eat

I was with a friend going to a show at the Academy of Music. We hadn't made plans for dinner and this place came up on my phone. It was so close, there was no wait, and the view was amazing. We were seated by the window. When no one came to get a drink order from us, although we weren't stressing about it, the host noticed and came over, offered us a free appetizer because of the wait and took our order. We both had the crab cake which was all crab. Delicious! The beer selection is extensive. I'd like a few more choices on the menu, but there was enough from which to choose. I would absolutely return.
