I have been to Mica several times and each time the food, service and experience was outstanding. If you enjoy great food and dining, it is certainly worth the trip. Make a reservation though as the dining area is somewhat small. Your taste buds will be very appreciative! The flavors are incredible with each dish and the presentations are beautiful. Friendly staff, comfortable atmosphere. You can also go somewhat casual.

A very cosy and agreeable place, in the midst of a lovely shopping street. The service was exceptional, very friendly and genuinely interested. The food is imaginative and the Spring Cocktail was exceptional. Highly recommended venue.

perfect meal, outstanding service in the midst of the quaint and intriguing village type neighborhood of Chestnut Hill. take the train from center city, about 20 minutes, if you are staying in town since station is right across the street. stroll the boutiques and galleries before or after your meal. they just added open air dining on the back deck. be prepared for a serious food experience. i see why they are winning so many awards even after being open less than a yr.

Great service, outstanding food. It's located in the Chestnut Hill area with interesting shops and restaurants on a cobblestone street.

Ate at Mica last week with my boss. Attractive dining room, efficient service, decent wine selection (they had a very good Viennese Grüner Veltliner wine). Most of the dishes were tasty and all were artistically presented - I especially loved the combination of flavors in my appetizer of Montauk Fluke Crudo. The sweet potato soup on the other hand was on the bland side and therein lies the problem for Mica. Because of the high prices and smallish portions, anything that hits a diner below the superlative level gets magnified. Had I had the soup at a little cafe for about a third of the price, it probably would have been fine. All in all, this is definitely a very positive addition to the Chestnut Hill dining scene.
