Our guide Rebecca was a delightful source of information and good humor. She was well-prepared, a graduate student in the field of history, and carried photos who led us around a several-block area of the richest historic district in Philadelphia in under two hours. She held up illustrations of the Founders for us to look at while she spoke. She told us lots of interesting facts about each site and was able to speak about each of the main signers of the Declaration of Independence in fascinating vignettes, informative without being boring. It was a delightful experience, an easy walk and I took lots of photos to share online in a slideshow. There is no fee per se but we can leave a "tip" with the guide (recommend $10-15 at least, perhaps $25 if you can afford it). I felt enlightened by the tour and never more proud of my country. I will be taking their longer tour soon.
