Definite give this a go! Everything about it was spot on. Food, atmosphere, service, drinks. It is pretty much tapas, small plates to sahre is the thing to do which is great when you are with someone who insists that you do! LOL We should have went witht he recommendation of 2 plates per person to share as the fifth was to much and came home with us. Great atmosphere and service was spot on. It is very quick, you sit, order and the food ebgins to flow almost immediately. So happy we found this place and definitely recommend it.

“My daugther's favorite place in Philly”
Reviewed April 16, 2014 credit card Amex Card Member Review

We tried this place while visiting our daughter in Philly and it was fantastic. It is a tapas or small sharable plate restaurant and every thing we order was delicious. Their menu options are fresh and use local products when possible, offers a great variety and you can't go wrong with any of them. Even their pizza was excellent. I highly recommend this restaurant but make a reservation because it fills up fast everyday.

“Pizza was excellent.”
Reviewed April 15, 2014

We tried the cheese plate, chicken liver, sauteed shrimp, pizza, and baked brie. Overall, everything was good, but the pizza was knock-it-out-of-the-park delicious.
Plate sizes are small, so be prepared.

“Wonderful!”
Reviewed April 9, 2014

The best meal I had in Philadelphia was at this restaurant. They serve small dishes meant to share, which was perfect! The roasted Brussels sprouts were amazing, the ricotta spread was perfect ... really everything was wonderful.

“Okay, overhyped and overated”
Reviewed April 8, 2014

I know many restaurants try to capitalize on the size of the restaurant, but Barbuzzo takes it to a whole new level. My wife and I booked this restaurant looking for high level dining for a special occasion and we did not get what we were expecting. To call this restaurant intimate would be laughable, you're practically sitting on others tables; they may as well just have one long table. The table was also TINY, it barely fit both of our plates and glasses. The service was good, but unfortunately the menu hurts the servers. The menu is not descriptive enough and that caused us to send back some food. I ordered pizza and it was not very good. My wife had to send back her food and subsequently lost her appetite. She shared my pizza which wasn't very big. Then the check came. We had 1 glass of wine, and 1 okay pizza (because we sent back her plate) .... $33 dollars. If this pizza was amazing and the wine was great, that wouldn't be bad. But for house wine and a mediocre pizza, this place is overpriced!

I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone who doesn't like sitting on other guests.
