“Cute Cafe”
Reviewed October 14, 2013

Great for sandwiches, Panini and others. There service was good, the place is small, it is a café where you can BYOB. Not sure I would go here for dinner but it was a great lunch spot in the historical area. Free wine with lunch special. On Open Table for your points. I gave it a very good as a sandwich shop not for a night out.

“Great Ambience and Service”
Reviewed September 6, 2013

A great place to eat in the historic liberty section of the city. Wonderful ambience and service; Kasey was a great waitress. The main course meals we had were very good. All the food is freshly prepared and its presentation is quite attractive. I have to say the creme brulee was the best I have ever had. If we return to Philly, this place will be on our list of "musts."

“A bit of a downgrade on 2nd visit”
Reviewed July 25, 2013

This was our second visit to Panini's Trattoria. We were the only customers at around 6pm and elected to sit outside as it was a very pleasant evening. We once again ordered pesto agnollotti and spaghetti e vongole. Neither dish was up to the standard set on our first visit and corrections had to be made to the order. We found out that there was a new chef in the kitchen and it appears as though he was unfamiliar with the menu. On the positive side it is real Italian food and even though I downgraded this visit it beats the chain Italian restaurants.

“Great Food”
Reviewed May 20, 2013

Had lunch here today, and the food was excellent. I had the fritatta, and my fiance had the Antipasto Marinated wrap. The food was fresh, and the portions very generous. There were plenty of vegetarian choices available. Lunch for both of us was under $20.00. I would definitely recommend this place if you want a great meal at a great price.

“Very good Italian Food”
Reviewed May 19, 2013

This was a very good restaurant choice in downtown Philadelphia. The food was very tasty and the servers were friendly. The prices are very reasonable and everything was "real Italian" food. I would recommend this place, there is also outside seating which was nice.
