Cozy atmosphere and great pasta dishes. Pesto Agnolotti was very good as was the spaghetti e vongole with white clam sauce. Homemade soup was excellent as was dessert, a great meal.

A little cozy italian restaurant in a very convenient location at 4th and Market accessible to all of Olde City. We went there for pre-theater before a show a the Arden. Its a BYOB (and theres a liquor store 2 blocks away on 2nd) which is always a money saver.
The menu is pretty standard Italian fare nothing too creative or original. It is more expensive than other reviews make it seem at $17-23 for an entree, yet the food is pretty rough home cooking w/ nothing big or interesting in terms of flavor. Really standard potatoes and vegs with each dish (though the side salad is a good size). Just not very exciting esp. for italian in philly which has a lot more interesting.

Friendly, cozy, casual spot near lots of attractions. It was recommended by a staff member at the Jewish Museum, and we were pleased with the service and food. My husband tried his first-ever Philly Cheese Steak and was satisfied, if not thrilled.

This quaint restaurant is in the heart of old city on market street. Pleasant wait staff. Food was great, our waitress had the specials down without reading them and she was upbeat and personable. From the entrance it doesnt look like they have much seating, and its a tight squeeze if there is a group of people there, you have to literally squeeze between the tables to get to additional seating in the back. The restaurant is small, old and rustic, love it. Its the food, wait staff, cook staff and the delicious food that makes this a 4/5. It is a BYOB so we brought a nice bottle of white wine and enjoyed it. The price is no different than any other sit down italian restaurant out there. At the end, our waitress gave us a business card/coupon to use on next visit. Good Business!

Good food with good prices. A BYOB but if you forget, they will give you wine or sangria. Their specials are always good. The pheasant ragu was superb. Reasonly priced with good service.
