It's aTiffany. What more is there to say. Philadelphia is lucky to have it. You should see it. It's available for review during normal business hours inside the Curtis Publishing building across the street from Independence hall.

“Hidden Gem Near Indepedence Hall - Tiffany Mosaic”
Reviewed March 12, 2013

I first visited this back in September 2011 (see my earlier review), this mosaic is truly outstanding. Hidden away in a office building, it is a masterpiece and a must see if you love Tiffany, Art Deco, Maxwell Perrish art!

The glass shimmers and shines in a multitude of colors. One of only three such works ever undertaken by Tiffany Studios, the piece is comprised of 24 panels that took over six months to install in its office setting. It is a 15 foot by 50 foot mosaic consisting of 100,000 pieces of favrile glass. Color and light are combined to create the vision of Parrish, who created the painting on which the mosaic was based. In total, there are over 260 colors of glass in the mosaic.

Absolutely Beautiful!

“A true piece of art in every sense of the word.”
Reviewed February 21, 2013

Simply beautiful. My daughter and I were wowed by the thought and attention put into the placement of each piece of glass. The lights made some parts of it appear to be in 3D. In fact, the lights very much added to the beauty of the work. Anyone looking for artistic inspiration, or just a change of scenery from historic sights should spend five minutes gazing at this thing of beauty.
