There is always a mind-blowing assortment of oysters available here and they taste like the ocean is right outside their back door. You can start with a dozen, but you WILL want more. Even if you don't eat the raw stuff, there are still plenty of delectable choices on this menu. Don't miss their soups, crab cakes or daily special. The atmosphere is awesomely PURE PHILLY with reclaimed historic marble and wood from throughout the city. The bar is the biggest one I've been to in Philly and winds its way through the restaurant, giving diners and drinkers a great view of the hard working shuckers doing their best to keep up with the never ending requests for more. Drinks are generous and well made, and the servers and staff treat you like family.

Had dinner with a group of six. From the minute we arrived everything was great! We started with oysters which everyone loved! They were fresh and very tasty! We all ordered something different on the menu and everyone was very pleased with their dinner. I enjoyed the crab cakes which were terrific. This is a wonderful restaurant and I can't wait to go back again.
If you like seafood, you MUST give this place a try....you won't be disappointed!!

The food is diverse, well prepared and fairly priced. The wait was 40 mins on a Saturday night. Nice and unique drink menu. I had the lobster roll which was a bit small but tasty. The service was slow but the place was packed and our staff was very friendly. Overall, a good experience!

It was a pretty busy night and when we arrived we were told that the wait would be about 15 minutes. Not bad, so we stayed and are glad we did. Started with a glass of excellent Sancerre and split a dozen oysters. The oysters were excellent, cold, clean and very tasty. I had the sautéed flounder which was done perfectly, moist on a bed of spinach. My wife had the pan seared soft shelled crabs...she said, "I'm glad it's a little noisy in here tonight; I keep saying "mmmmm" after every bite. Special thanks to Angela and Daniel for superior service that made the visit even more pleasant. We will be back again, soon .... and often.
