This is a great centrally located hotel. We stayed there 12/23-24. On the 24th they had a live band playing holiday music in the lounge and they were great. Service was all around great. The valet took about 30 minutes to grab our car but I think they were a little light on staff b/c of the holiday. It was a chance to relax and enjoy the music so it wasn't too offputting!

For a brand that bills themselves as luxury, I've yet to have a luxury experience at any Le Meridien I've ever stayed at. Check-in was smooth and I was upgraded (I'm SPG Platinum) and every experience I had with the staff after was very positive. The room however, was sub-par. The carpet was stained, the towels in the bathroom had yellow and brown spots, and the floor of the shower was stained black. Upon check-out, I mentioned these to the front desk agent and she added some points to my account.

Had an incident this past weekend at this hotel and asked the front desk manager to call the police. Hours later the police never came although the manager on duty said he called them. After going to the local police station they said the hotel never called. So instead of protecting the guests at this hotel they cared more about their image. Too bad that I had to come back to the hotel with not one but seven police officers to handle the incident.

This hotel was superb. It was stunning, clean, the service was excellent. They were able to upgrade my husband and me to a suite, and sent a lovely dessert tray with their compliments when he told the front desk he was trying to convince me to move to Philly. Le Meridien is within walking distance to many attractions and restaurants. The bed was extremely comfortable and we had a fantastic view of the capitol building from our room. Plus, the Malin & Goetz bath products were luxurious. It was a great value and we would absolutely stay there again!

We decided to stay here because of the name that comes along with Meridien and location, the hotel is located just in front of City Hall and we had an awesome view of it as we where placed on the 10th floor
The room is small but very cozy, because we are Platinum with SPG we received coupons for drinks and breakfast
Breakfast options are great as well as taste and presentation
At breakfast we met with Sandra Alcazar who is the Assistant of the Outlets Manager, she had a very nice conversation with us, she was very gracious and gave us very detailed information of what to do in Philadelphia, she was really an example of what great service and courtesy is for Le Meridien standards, out stay was amazing, but she made it even better
