Booked this hotel in Jan of 2013 for a 3 day wkd. The hotel itself is fine and the rooms are modern, with a nice shower. The biggest issue for me was how thin the walls are....you can seriously hear everything. From drunk college kids to a hot and heavy couple, we could hear EVERYTHING through the walls. Def would not stay here again, especially at the price they charge. A little more and you can get something much nicer.

Clean, safe area, good location, large room and nice bath. Beautiful atrium area, modern chic looking interior. Higher priced room than what's typical for hotels in Philly, you could do better and cheaper. Overall a nice place.

I was in Philadelphia for two days and stayed at Le Meridien for a night. Minimalist and sleek design, super comfortable bed. It was great to be greeted at the front desk by very courteous and responsive staff who made the arrival and departure experiences superb. The room I was in faced out to nothing spectacular (it looked out to another building), which could be a minus for some people, but I don't tend to open the curtains too often anyway during a hotel stay, so it was ok.

Location-wise, it's not completely out of the way, but it isn't in the center of activity like other Center City hotels are. When you're in a small city like Philadelphia, it does make a difference when you're a couple blocks away as opposed to right in the middle of it.

Stayed at Le Meridien, Philadelphia for 4 nights in May, 2103. The room was very good. Spacious, scrupulously clean and plenty of room to move about. Large bathroom, loads of space, well lit, plenty of room for toiletries. Nice to have a bath and a shower - there's nothing like a long soak in the bath after a hard day's sight-seeing. Air-con kept the room at an even temperature without being to noisy. The beds were particularly comfortable, something not always found in hotels!

Great location, close to all local amenities; restaurants, shops, historic sites alll within easy reach.

Staff were very helpful at all times. Bar staff were nice and friendly, doormen were helpful.

All in all a faultless four days. Well done Le Meridien.

We stayed for four nights and loved every minute of it. The hotel is in a beautiful old building just across from city hall. We were able to walk to so many historic areas, the adding terminal market, and the trains station to take us out to family in the suburbs. We never ate in restaurant since many local stay rants were in walking distance. Service and staff were excellent. Will be back again.

I just cringed reading the reviews from people who stayed at Le Meridien the same weekend as we did and yet had an experience so different from ours. I took my (2) 16-year old nieces and the three of us could not have been treated any better. Not only do these young ladies have great Philadelphia memories of long walks to 30th Street Station and the Art Museum, good food and cute boys at the Italian Market festival, but the staff of the Le Meridien showed them how well you can (and should be) treated when giving a hotel your business.

Thank you Le Meridien for the outstanding service from valet to front desk. (especially Mr Schwemer!). Classy + genuine Philadelphia friendliness. Thanks for the restaurant recco's, the complimentary umbrella, sharing the building's history with the girls, and the extended 1/2 hour at checkout. (so they could properly primp after the rainstorm) You put that other overrated chain (H-----) to shame.

We checked into Le Meridien for a one night stay and were treated so well that we didn't want to leave!
From the minute we arrived, the staff could not do enough to help us. The valets were prompt & attentive, the front-desk staff were pleasant & informative making the arrival and check-in process a breeze.
Since we had arrived long before check-in time, the hotel staff kept our bags while we had lunch & explored the city a bit.
Eating at Amuse (the hotel restaurant) was such a treat: the food was inventive & delicious and the staff could not have done anything else to make the meal more enjoyable!
Our room was lovely ~ spacious & bright with great views of the city. Breakfast was delivered right on time and was a great way to start the day.
Le Meridien made our quick get-a-way feel like vacation!
