Americans should be proud of our National Parks, especially the Historical Parks, which protect and explain our history with patience and thorough knowledge of their subject.

If you know what day you'll be there go online and reserve your timed tickets or go to the visitors center immediately when they open . You must have timed tickets (no fee) to get in and you do not want to miss this! The presentation by park rangers is amazing, They make it so real. I can understand if you're visiting from another country this would just be ok but for Americans it's a must.

History at it's best! Grounds are beautiful, guides are extremely helpful, historical artifacts are amazing. Always something different to view. Be sure to look at the archeological site across from Constitution Hall.

The line to get through security moved steadily to get into see the bell. There was a lot of background and cultural knowledge that lined the way to the bell. The bell is set nicely in front of large clear windows that allow for pictures of Liberty Bell set in front of Independence Hall. It can be very picturesque and patriotic all at the same time, if you can manage to get a shot without all the other tourists.

Philadelphia was once the capitol of these United States. Many of the colonial buildings have been restored and are open to the public. As you wonder from place to place, you are walking in the footsteps of our founding fathers.
In the summer, there's usally a few "colonials" around to help you find your way and maybe even tell you a thing or two about their lives.
Don't miss Ben Frankliln's place. The interactive exhibits are worth doing.
Don't race through - you'll loose the sense of going back in time.
