So much wonderful history and architecture. Walk all around and enjoy a sit in the parks and take in all the views.

“Very Informative”

The park rangers and staff are very friendly and the presentation in the Old Congress chambers were very well done. Hats off to the ranger who gave it.

“Loved the history”
Reviewed May 28, 2014

Independence Hall and the Liberty Bell had long lines, but we enjoyed walking through the park and seeing the historic buildings, homes, banks, etc. A highlight was the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier in Washington Park, especially on Memorial Day.

“Get your Hall tickets first thing at the visitors center”
Reviewed May 27, 2014

Make your first stop the visitors center and pick up your timed tickets for Independence Hall right away.

We failed to do this. We went to the Liberty Bell first, waiting for 20 minutes to get inside the doors. Then we went to Independence Hall and learned that we needed to go all the way back to the visitors center to get the tickets. I ran all the way back, only to discover that the earliest I could get tickets for was 3 hours from then. So were not able to do the tour.

However...I do recommend going and checking this all out. It is awesome to see.

“Worth the short wait.”
Reviewed May 26, 2014

It is free and a lot of history. There was a short wait and we went on Memorial Day. There are plenty of places to sit and relax. Nice greenery harboring a few beautiful flowers. There us a public restroom right across the street.
