A great place to sit back and take it all in. Easy to see most of the sights from here as they are just minutes away from each other.

Thank Mike P

Our visit on a February Sunday was perfect: Small crowds, first-class facilities, friendly staff, and an excellent guide at Independence Hall...I mean the Pennsylvania statehouse :-)
No tickets are needed in January or February, and the crowds are small, so it is a great time to visit. Visiting the interior of independence hall requires a guide, and our enthusiastic and knowledgeable guide brought to life the drama of the time.

A part of history and no charge to see it. The line moved quickly. We had to go through security check. I felt like I was about to board a plane. But I found out there was a "bomb threat" just hours before we arrived. Would not have known that till we got home the next day and saw it on the news. The staff did a good job at keeping the place secure.

Great history lesson for everyone. Be prepared for long lines and crowds but still worth a visit. Nice stretch of open space surrounded by old and historical buildings.
