I like the Philadelphia Zoo, but then again I don't have many to compare it to. However, it is a nice day out and worth a visit. I was really disappointed with the kids petting zoo area. It was very dated and dingy and nothing there worth seeing. I think they maybe renovating it soon. It was very bad. But the other exhibits are good.

Enjoyable even when it's hot or crowded. New exhibits continually keep experience fresh. Miss the monorail. Balloon is stupid.

Great behind the scenes tours. Upkeep of the zoo is wonderful. Expensive if you do not have a family pass.

The Philadelphia Zoo is the best. There are exhibits outside and inside so it is not a complete was if it rains. You must see the monkeys !!! They are on islands that supposedly depict a more natural environment. You can ride camels and ponies, the kids will love it. My 8 year old daughter was very excited about this zoo.
