A great show by Agatha Christie that is the World's Longest running play is still enjoyable today. A mystery murder with all the usual, unusual characters trapped in bed and breakfast in a snow storm. Everybody is connected to the murder. Pleasant to see a mystery without sex, drugs and foul language. The Walnut itself is a great venue to see theatre, They are remodling to keep it in touch with the 21st Century, since it is the oldest continuous theatre in America. Love the downstairs bar, Barymore, with all the family pictures.

The Walnut Street theater is one of my favorites and has been for many years. We have a season subscription and last week enjoyed their main stage show Mouse Trap. What a silly, fun show it was - and I am not allowed to tell you 'who-dunit'!
There is a small seating area downstairs for coffee and cookies, etc and their counter for sale of jewelry has some nice bargains.

Went to see Agatha Christie's mousetrap. We got tix late and still managed great seats in the front of the balcony. The venue was great, the show was amazining and the cast incredible. A true gem and the oldest theater in the country.

We have been subscribers for several years and decided not to renew for next year. We have found the variety of shows to be quite good with productions ranging from fair to very good. Considering the subscription price, the Walnut is a bargain. We have seats in the lower mezzanine, center and no obstructions.
As the oldest operating theater in the US, it is compact but very nicely refurbished. Overall, our experiences there have been good.
We decided for next year we need a change. We also subscribe to the Arden theater and attend shows at the Forrest, Merriam, Susan Roberts and Academy.

As the country's oldest theater, you must go to the Walnut Theater. We just loved the King and I and are anxious to see Mousetrap. Great performances in a wonderful old theater.
