This hotel was very quiet. We stayed while visiting Wills Eye Hosp & Children's with a sick baby. It was very quiet and did not disturb baby. The staff was very kind & considerate and even concerned for our sick baby. It was so nice having a shuttle available to help us in our travels around the city since we were not
from the area. We have stayed here before this trip and we will stay there again. Love it!!!!

My parents and I visited Philadelphia for a few days and got a good deal at this hotel. But what made the hotel a great stay was the staff. The front desk people were nice and attentive and very helpful when asked "touristy" questions which I'm sure they get asked millions of times. The hotel is a few blocks away from the train station and the old city. Would not hesitate to stay here again.

They had a great view of the Thomas Jefferson Bridge from the window. The TV was huge with many channels and the people there we're nice. The breakfast was really nice! They had sausages and a lot of other things. Also, there was hot water all day long.

Room Tip: room with a view of the river!

I went to be close to shows, shopping and attractions. It is walking distance to Independence Hall, Elfreth's Alley and one of America's oldest candy shops. It is easy access to the 95. You can access public transportation for some attractions farther away like shopping on Walnut or Chestnut Streets [more high end]. We got a discount for the room so I truly cannot complain about price or the free hot breakfast. I know public transport so we did not bring the car [parking is a bit pricey]. Having grown up near the expressway, white noise doesn't bother me but keep this in mind. However, for a nice weekend in a historic and activity galore town [don't forget all the museums] it is worth the trip.

Room Tip: Just as for earplugs or white noise machines of the front desk staff

Thank you for the awesome review, we are very happy that you were able to make your way around the city with no problem. Just an FYI we do have a complimentary shuttle that will take you within a 2 mile radius of the hotel which is very convenient for those who do not wish to walk or take public transportation. We look forward to seeing you in the future, Have a great day and happy holidays! :D

Everything was fine. Just fine. Except the price. $460 for a room, facing the noisy freeway, partiers next door, an expensive parking lot, and clinically industrial breakfast foods. Toilet not attached to the floor. Phone that didn't work even after it was fixed.

This place is fine for under $100. Shuttle service to the center of the city. Walking distance (a healthy distance) to almost everything. Killer alternative art scene next door. But if you're a light sleeper and end up on the freeway side, forget it. Bring really good earplugs. In the realm of hotel breakfasts, this pushed the limit of just add water or heat in the microwave.

So the hotel is okay, but if you get charged like we did at $460 for a room with two queen beds, my expectations FAR exceed what is delivered.

Room Tip: Gotta get the quiet side, but you will pay a lot more.

Thank you so much for taking the time to write this review, we appreciate all feedback both negative and positive and use them to improve our hotel for our future guests. As far as the price goes there was a big convention in town that weekend so prices were a little on the higher side but we were still much cheaper than other hotels around the area. We apologize that we did not meet all your expectations during your stay and your were anything less than satisfied.

We hope that you come back to give us a chance to redeem ourselves from your recent stay and so that we could make your next one a more positive experience.
