Was neater in the 70's but now they don't roll the metal from the giant ingots. That was the neatest part.

Nothing really Exciting here. It is a long walk around the upstairs of the entire building. You cant really see what is going on in the actual Mint except for the machines that move large containers of Change around. Did not see Bill making machines. Lots of antiques around the tour from the old days of Money making.

Good to see the factory floor from above and learn about coin making and see what's been made but the museum part is much more interesting than seeing the mint in action.

The mint tour is self guided and you read the points. It is total bore when they are not in production. Some of the side exhibits of coins and medals minted are neat. They are going to change the tour so I hope is for the better.
