“Friendliest Docents in the City of Brotherly Love”
Reviewed August 27, 2014

This is a brand new museum, so the facilities are very au courant. The layout is very easy to maneuver, the exhibits are interesting, and I am very glad I went.

The docents -- all volunteers -- were to the person friendly, helpful and earnest. They made the museum a place of connection, rather than observation. Even the people in the gift shop were super nice.

I recommend watching the short bio pieces on the Jewish Hall of Fame members on the large, curved screens on the first floor, in the lobby. They were really well done pieces, and getting to hear Justice Ginsburg talk about Justice Brandeis was a treat.

A brand new museum which traces the history of American Jewry. Fabulous museum and totally empty. I urge all to go.

“Dont want to come here again.”
Reviewed August 27, 2014

The visit was worthless. I don't understand why this is even here. Everything other than this place is ok and fun to visit but this place is a no go.

“Makes the story easy to understand”
Reviewed August 25, 2014

Well organized layout walks visitors through the story of how Jews fared in America from the first settlers to the present. Exhibits are clear and comprehensible making for an easy self-guided visit. The only complaint is that the exhibits are not well lit and some items were hard to read or view.

“Baseball and Becoming American”
Reviewed August 21, 2014

Compelling and entertaining exhibit that can be taken on many levels; strong appeal for all ages. Interactive exhibits were excellent. Artifacts were amazing; from baseball rule books written in Hebrew to uniforms worn by Jackie Robinson. Recommend to anyone who enjoys baseball.
