Across from the old Franklin Field is very easy to arrive there by public transportation. The museum itself is very large, hosting 3 floors of exhibits. Besides the stairs, there are elevators and each exhibit is marked on the map/brochure they give you. There are also students and faculty rooms in the adjacent building. Large cafeteria and well-stocked gift shop. I do suggest you take note where you entered as I needed assistance to find the door of which I entered. Because of the large interior, it is very easy to get lost...even a seasoned veteran!! The staff were very friendly, museum clean inside and out. A fountain filled with gold fish centers the outside atrium with benches to sit and relax for a while. On exhibits when I visited: American Indians, Egyptian mummies, ancient Rome, Greece, Africa and Mexico/Incas were among the fascinating artifacts and many young students visit here for school projects with interactive exhibits as well. An A plus in my book.
