Rittenhouse Square is a great area to grab something to eat at a unique restaurant and do some shopping. Very cool neighborhood in Philadelphia.

I loved this area as it had my 2 loves....great shopping and great wine! If those 2 don't go hand in hand with you, it may not be your place!

While most of Philadelphia may seem rough, Rittenhouse Square and Old City are the neighborhoods that are the diamonds in the rough. Ritzy condos, townhouses, people and poodles all surround you as you view the beautiful sights - greenery, fountains, parks. Expensive restaurants that only celebrities can afford. Old money. It truly is beautiful and a nice place to visit.

I live on Rittenhouse Square and absolutely love the area - so close to many great restaurants so easy to get a coffee or ice cream and sit on a bench to enjoy it. Lights in winter add a nice little sparkle, and spring / summer bring a nice picnic venue or simply a good place to relax either alone or with friends. There are weekly farmer's markets throughout most of the year - love walking out on a Friday and having delicious local vendors selling everything from apples to chocolate!

great shops, lovely hotels, great eateries and super people watching if you actually have the time! The hotels around the square are pretty damn nice too!
