It's well worth a quick visit to Elfreth's Alley. The history behind this street is very interesting and the houses down the Alley are pretty and quaint. It's a small street and popular with tourists so just beware that it's likely to be crowded when you visit. You can see the whole Alley in about 20 minutes so just wander through and move on.

A neat thing to see and experience. Visualize early settlers in the 18 century walking this same street and you can almost feel the history. Overall a cool thing to experience.

This is the oldest street in the U.S.A. It dates back to 1736. All houses are well kept and the street itself is sparkling clean. A museum on that street documents everything that happened in that street. We sure enjoyed our walk there.

A must see if you want to know what a street of the 18th century looked like. Don't expect a long street, it takes not even 5 minutes if you just walk through it. But longer of course, if you take the time to look carefully around.

Awesome little street stuck back around the corner from the Betsy Ross house. Walking down the street gives you a bit of overwhelming nostalgia about what it must have been like living in those times...
