We took my daughter to this museum and she had an absolutely wonderful time. She was a little under 2 at the time, but could walk, so she got around just fine. There are lots of kids here and there, so being mobile definitely helps. The water table was a huge hit as well as the Alice in Wonderland exhibit. There's also a play grocery store, a big floor piano and a carousel amongst many other things. She was too young for the show we saw... Pinch Bear I believe? So, we had to find ways to entertain her during that, but for 4+ ages, its appropriate. It's in a great part of Philadelphia, is easy to park right on site and a great spot to go if in need of a "to do" with a little one on a weekend.

We spent the day at the Please Touch Museum with our two year old daughter, and she abslutely loved it! We literally had to pick her up and carry her out of the museum kicking and screaming, b/c she was having too much fun to leave. She was particularly excited about (and slightly obsessed with) the "Shop Right" grocery store on the bottom level. She spent hours there filling up her grocery cart and basket, ringing the food up at the cash register, and then playing with all of it in the attached kitchen.

Please Touch is bigger than our local children's museum, so she was thrilled. If we were members of our local museum, we could have gotten in free with a reciprocity agreement, so that's something to look into before you go if you tend to go to a lot of children's museums.

We didn't realize that you can park on the street for free. I recommend that, b/c the museum is very pricey to begin with and then to add the parking fee just adds insult to injury! Also, if you leave the parking lot you have to pay to get back in. There is a nice cafe in the museum, but we didn't take advantage of it. (The others all had to taste the Philly cheese steaks from Pat's and Geno's!)

2 floors of fun in a beautiful building. Our 4 year old was very excited running and exploring everywhere. Great variety of things to do. I think admission is steep but we had a reciprocal membership from Port Discovery in Baltimore and were thrilled that admission was then free.

We visited the Please Touch Museum with our almost 3 year old son and he had an absolute blast! It is very clean and plenty of things to do for preschool age kids. We went on a Saturday morning shortly after it opened and it wasn't too busy but when we left around 2pm it was packed. The only downside I can see is that some parents like to take their kids places and then just take off and think other people will watch their kids. I saw so many unattended kids and it was disturbing. At one point a little boy cut in front of my son at the ball pit bulldozers and the museum attendant running the exhibit had to call over his radio about the child who was just wandering around by himself. His mother was found a few minutes later in a different room and texting on her phone. Please just watch your kids.

I would probably rate this as a 4 star if it hadn't been so crowded! They need to set a limit on how many people they admit. It was too much!! We went during the week. I can't begin to imagine what it would be like on a weekend!

Great activities, and they had areas set aside just for the under 3 crowd, which I thought was nice. What baffles me about the place was that while they catered to young kids, making sure they had special areas for them, that toys were low enough for them to reach too, and even had low sinks in the bathroom for young children, the water section did not have stools or a really low area for little kids. There were areas that were lower then others in the water area, but it was still too high for the 2 year old and under group.
