Came here on business. Check in was smooth even though they breaking in a new trainee, Dining experience was good with professional and polite dining staff. Room service was good and speedy. Bar on the 10th floor has a good selection of beverages with a friendly bartender who kept things lively and interesting. The only negative experience I had was that I asked for a 7 Am wakeup call that never happened (thank goodness I had my iPhone as back up!) Breakfast buffet was VERY limited by comparison to other hotels. Overall, really nothing to wow about....

We are glad your arrival experience with our new team member went smooth and that you enjoyed room service and especially Anthony our bartender. We are investigating your wakeup call as well as our buffet items which we typically hear very positive comments about. We hope to see you again soon.

I recently along with 47 other guests stayed at your hotel in Philly for a YUSA conference. Your staff at the Hilton are exceptional employees, so friendly and very accommodating. Willow was exceptionally outstanding and went above and beyond her duties. Not only did she help me find a caterer that provided me with 50 box lunches and beverages for our drive home, she also helped me store a lot of adult beverages for our Saturday evening private Philly by Night seeing tour. Reggie and Eric made each and every morning a delight to have breakfast, they where both ready at the quick with juice and coffee, greeted us with smiles and treated us as family. The girls cleaning our rooms (I know one was Sara), they where all so very polite, always smiling and just made the stay so enjoyable.

I commend you on having such a great staff, and would give you a rating of 10++++.

The staff at the hotel are very accommodating and courteous. The property needs some upgrading. Carpeting in the elevators are really pretty bad. Need to change immediately. The room that I had was pretty sparse in terms of wall decoration. Property needs a bit of TLC. Great location if you want to be close to Convention Ctr and Reading Terminal Market.

Thank you for taking the time to share your recent experience. I am glad that our team was very accommodating and courteous and you were pleased with our location. We are getting ready to replace our elevator carpeting with a tile product so we are excited to see this change as we always look to improve the experiences of our guests. We are also planning our next phase of our room renovation to add new carpet and wall vinyl in 2 of our guest floors. Please let me know when your plans bring you back so we can make sure you have the opportunity to experience one of our renovated rooms.

This Hilton Garden Inn is in a great location in Downtown Philadelphia, lots of great restaurants within walking distance of the hotel. Right on the edge of Chinatown and only 1 block from the SEPTA Market East Station so it makes using the public transit system in Philly a great choice. Located on the same block as Reading Terminal Market makes it the ideal hotel to stay at if you are in town to check out all the local food choices. It's a surprisingly quiet hotel given it's location in a downtown setting
