Went to philly for the flower show had a great time. The ritz carlton was excellent. as soon as you walk in the door there handing you champagne. Every time i came through the door they would give me a glass. just sitting on the couch in the lobby looking up at the architecture was so nice. The entire staff from the doormen to the maids were the best. I could of stayed for week it was so nice. Then reality hits you and you have to go back to work on monday.Cant wait to go back thanks for a great weekend.

This is a beautiful building with outstanding service. The only issue with this property is that most of the TV stations were anolog and not very clear and the $49 per night for valet parking. The only other option for parking is public lots a block away.

This old Philadelphia bank transformed into the hippest ritz...Love the pink bar and the amazing architecture. Truly a historical building. Such a nice friendly staff....they go out of their way to make guests feel at home. Its my first pic for every business trip to Philly. One of my favorites for sure, I always pick the Ritz.

Besides stating the obvious about the lobby, suites, spa etc., I would like to highlight the customer service. The entire staff is extremely attentive, knowledgeable and pleasant. From the moment you park the car and enter the hotel it seems that everybody from valet services, check-in, concierges and to the club lounge knows your name. Not even a single time I was asked for my room number but was rather addressed by my name! This kind of personal touch sets this property heads and shoulders above the competition.
Do upgrade to Club, if possible. Well worth it.

My sister and I were traveling to Philadelphia for a family emergency and decided to stay at the Ritz for the convenience of the location. I am a longtime fan of the Ritz properties and this stay reminded me once again why... Service, service, service!

The ENTIRE staff was helpful, warm, and genuinely wonderful. I will 100% be back to this property every time I visit Philadelphia and will continue to go out of my way to stay at the Ritz-Carlton when possible.

There may be other properties with comparable amenities, and a great location, but nothing compares to the consistently exceptional service and attention to detail I have experienced at the Ritz, and this location is no exception. Their Moto is "The Ritz-Carlton experience enlivens the senses, instills well-being, and fulfills even the unexpressed wishes and needs of our guests." Yes they do. Thank you again to their staff!

We always enjoy staying at a Ritz-Carlton property and Philadelphia met the standard in most cases. Nice room, turn-down service, soaking tub. As is the case in any big city, street noise can be an issue. I travel with an app to provide white noise so I can sleep. The valet service was absolutely outstanding! We enjoyed the lounge/bar area, although it was very crowded, they have a good happy hour with some good small plates. To management: the restrooms on the main level need an upgrade and both sides of the bed need a reading lamp. We had breakfast 3 mornings at the hotel and it was always very good. Typical of Ritz the gym is small. It was great to be able to walk to the Kimmel Center for a concert. There were lots of people on the street and I didn't ever feel uncomfortable. We would definately stay here again.

I have stayed at the Ritz Carlton Philadelphia multiple times over the past year and have never been disappointed. The property is a beautiful century old building with great views of center city including city hall. The hotel has a classy, sophisticated ambiance and is a nice place to come back to after a long day in the office. The hotel has a bar in the lobby and features live music on Wednesday nights. The standard sized rooms are small but still very well-appointed. The bathrooms are quite spacious with a separate tub and shower. If available, consider upgrading to one of the larger rooms. Service is impeccable. From the second you arrive, the doors are opened for you, upon check-in you are offered a bottle of water, and they will make sure they tend to whatever it is that you need. As a platinum elite member with Marriott, I have been upgraded several times and offered complimentary drinks upon check-in.

Location is great. You will be within walking distance to several restaurants. I suggest checking out Del Frisco's or Butcher and Singer, just a few blocks away, two great steakhouses. You are also within walking distance to two subway/regional rail stations: Suburban Station and Market East Station. I would advise not using public transportation later in the evening as the stations become somewhat deserted and not as busy as the subway stations in NY. Philadelphia also tends to shut down early, most stores in center city close around 8 if not earlier.

Overall, a wonderful property and will continue to be my hotel of choice in Philadelphia.
