“Beautiful architecture.”
Reviewed February 22, 2012

For only $8 you get an hour's escorted tour of this magnificent building. The tour guide is a Mason and will answer general questions but mainly tells you about the architectural details of each room you visit. There is a little museum you may wander around after the tour.

“Worth the time if you have it”
Reviewed February 20, 2012

If you're in Center City and looking for something out of the ordinary, the Masonic Temple is certainly worth the visit. IT is an amazing edifice with dozens of rooms designed with different themes, from Egyptian to Norman. The guided tours are not long and leave a shroud of mystery over some of the masonic practices. Tickets are a bit expensive, but I think it's worth the money if you have the time to take the tour.

“This is one good architecture next to Independence hall”
Reviewed February 16, 2012

It's a unique architecture made marble and like the Independence Hall, it's designed to be the same on all sides.

“Stepping back into history. Got goosebumps. A must see!”
Reviewed February 14, 2012

Amazing building. Amazing history. George Washington's apron is there. The lodge rooms are not necessary more beautiful than the last, but as amazing because they are all beautiful. The stories of how the building was planned, the tools used, and the fact that it was there before City Hall. Hidden jewel in Philadelphia. The history alone, walking where our forefathers walked. Yes I'm a history geek, but it is a terrific place. Can't describe it all, you have to go see it for yourselves!
