Great food and service at this Rittenhouse Square eatery. Had the onion soup which is out of this world. The steak au poivre was quite good and very tasty. The waitress and staff was very attentive and filled my water glass as soon as I placed it back on the table. A winner! Will be back!

Good food, good service; however, the place is huge and the high ceilings do not contribute to good conversation. That having been said, I will probably return for the food and great location.

This lovely restaurant is right on Rittenhouse Park, and has great food. I would have loved to have sat outside, but it was raining. The food is delicious, and prices moderately high; but not bad considering the location. The only thing we objected to was the noise. The restaurant was packed, and they had some kind of loud rock or hiphop music on in the background. Try to get a window table - fun to watch the street and the park.

What do you get when you combine first-rate French bistro-style cooking with an artfully faked interior and a highly professional waitstaff? Parc, a charming place that overlooks Rittenhouse Square, offers outdoor seating, and a terrific wine list. You know you're in for some serious cooking when you get the bread basket, filled with an array of freshly baked breads, all made there, a nice change from the usual nothing rolls. Started with a charcuterie platter; Serrano ham, various sausage, delicious pates, cornichon and pickled onions. Rabbit and pappardelle pasta for son was sublime, delicately flavored; duck confit over roasted baby root veg. was supurb, as was a salad of frise lettuce with lardons, croutons, and a poached egg in a light vinagrette. Dessert was profiteroles - how can you miss with tiny creampuffs filled with ice cream and topped with hot fudge? Our waiter Colin was friendly without being unctuous, knew the food and the wine list, and was at hand when we needed him; a total pro. The check was a third less than the previous night's when we'd eaten at the ridiculous Prime Rib, and it was a meal that the three of us are still fondly reminiscing about two days later! Romantic, well-placed, and while not inexpensive, well worth.

Absolutely gorgeous location with great food.
We were salivating for Philly's best french onion soup. Although there were many great suggestions, we picked the Parc because of its location. Then the fun began. This is an absolutely fabulous restaurant! And we certainly were not disappointed with the french onion soup. Cheese, cheese and more cheese hiding a perfectly prepared french onion base filled - and I do mean filled - with french onions. A great place to people watch too. I would recommend reservations.
