Second visit now time to review.
Good food (my favorites are pasts bolognese and steak frites).
Excellent desserts (my favorite are the profiteroles).
Service attentive. When one of our guest's steak was undercooked waiter and management both arrived at our table.

“Amazing service, food ambiance!”

This French bistro is one of the best I've ever eaten. The steak tartare is the best I've ever had. (Had many of times in some of the top resturants in NYC- hands down the best) the crab cake was outstanding. My husband had the lamb-not one bite was left. I had the beef bourgugone. I cut the meat w/ my spoon by the way. The cheesecake w/ blueberry sorbet and blueberry compote delicious! Light, fluffy dessert. Highly reccomend- will be back soon!

“Consistently good”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 26, 2013 via mobile

Stopped for a late lunch so we were looking for something light and a glass of wine. The restaurant was fairly quiet but - given their central location - there always is activity. Of the many times we've been at Parc, this meal was the best even though it was very simple, and 95% of this relates to the server. Very knowledgeable about wine and able to make some astute recommendations relative to the comments my husband and I were making. So we ended up with a nice half bottle of a premier cru Chablis to go with an omlette and some onion soup ... everything was very well done, and properly done. Trained staff - especially on wine - in America. Imagine. Maybe on the pricey side given the bottle we selected, but enjoyable and worth it.

“Excellent bistro”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 23, 2013

This bistro right on Rittenhouse Square is about as good a representation of French bistro food as you can get in Philadelphia. The menu has all the bistro classics like moule frites and duck confit, which are quite good. The bread is made in house and excellent. Enjoyable. Good place to go.

“Memories of Paris”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 23, 2013

Lunch at Parc was a last minute recommendation on a chilly, dismal and rainy day. What a serendipitous dining experience it was! The view of Rittenhouse Square conjured up fond memories of parks in Paris. The warm shrimp salad is in itself worth a return visit and the steak sandwich warrants a more elegant title. We thought the prices quite fair considering the location, ambiance and quality of the food.
